Re-imagining PSN

UI Design (Concept)
As part of my work with the IBM Bluemix garage team, I was tasked with redesigning the PSN system using the IBM Design Thinking framework. PSN is a knowledge repository that is geared towards individuals working with Cloud Native applications. During the redesign process, I held multiple brainstorming sessions with the team to identify pain points experienced by users.
It became clear that users were experiencing difficulties with the search feature, as it was not producing helpful results. To gain a better understanding of the issues, I collaborated with a solution architect to walk through the system. Together, we facilitated a Design Thinking workshop to identify key personas, and we came up with a key persona - Vaibhav, a solution engineer.
We then sketched out his key asks, and the gaps he was experiencing in finding information related to CloudNative application solutions. We also discussed the limitations of previous approaches, such as chat bots and search. After synthesizing the requirements, I proposed a visual design with a chatbot integrated with a search approach. The design included options and choices based on the user's past usage.
